Live GPS speed test
Bullet Train Speed Test
Use Zpeed to measure live speed during a high-speed rail journey without installing an app.
Catch the cruising speed.
High-speed services reach their operating speed gradually. Tap Start tracking as the train accelerates and watch the reading climb.
Record your session peak.
The trip stats panel records your session maximum. A useful reference when riding different lines or operators.
Signal recovers automatically.
Many high-speed lines pass through tunnels where GPS is lost. The reading drops to 0 and resumes when the train clears the tunnel.
Just your phone and a browser.
No Bluetooth sensors, no app download, no account. Open a browser tab, tap Start tracking, and watch the speed.

Good to know
Things worth knowing.
01 Why does the speed show 0 in a tunnel? ⌄
GPS needs line of sight to satellites. Underground sections block the signal. The reading recovers automatically when the train exits the tunnel.
02 Can it keep up with speeds above 200 km/h? ⌄
Yes. The browser's Geolocation API reads speed from the GPS chip without an upper cap. Readings at 250–300 km/h are well within what the API can report.
03 Does it need mobile data at high speed? ⌄
Only for the initial page load. GPS works independently of your data connection, so signal gaps between base stations won't affect the reading.
